Stepping in front of the camera has never been something that comes naturally to me — if I’m honest, the thought of it always felt a little daunting. But recently, I had the opportunity to work with the fabulous Karen Massey on a brand shoot, and I was genuinely surprised by how much I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
From the very beginning, Karen made me feel completely at ease. Her calm, friendly presence meant that instead of worrying about posing or how I looked, I could simply focus on being myself. She has an incredible way of bringing out personality and capturing the essence of a brand in a natural, authentic way.
For Truly Jewellery, this was so important. Our collections are carefully curated and designed to bring a touch of timeless classic style to everyday life. We’re proud to partner with a number of beautiful luxury hotels — including the London Meliá White House Hotel, Coombe Abbey, Bath Spa Hotel, and Compleat Angler — where our pieces are available for guests to enjoy. I wanted the images from this shoot to reflect not just the jewellery itself, but also the story, partnerships, and passion behind the brand.
Looking back at the photographs, I couldn’t be happier. Karen has managed to capture both me and my business beautifully, in a way that feels true to the heart of Truly Jewellery. These images aren’t just photographs — they’re a visual reflection of our journey and the values we hold dear.
